タイプーサム 2015／Thaipusam 2015

今年もヒンドゥー教徒のお祭りタイプーサムに行ってきました。去年は妊婦だったのもあってゆっくり歩きながら沢山写真が撮れたけど、今回は娘を一人で抱っこしていたので、そうもいかず。(去年の様子はコチラ→☆) 

I joined Hindu Festival, Thaipusam in Penang this year too. Last year I enjoyed taking a lot of photos during the festival. That is because I was eight months pregnant and had plenty of time to take photos while walking very very slowly. This year I could not afford to take because I was holding my baby in my left arms without the help of my husband. (Last year topic is here)

さんま定食／grilled sanma set meal

新鮮な魚介が買えので、今夜はさんま定食にしました。写真を見て気づいたんですが、さんまの頭の向きが逆でしたね。

I bought fresh seafoods such as sanma, saba, etc, so I made grilled sanma set meal tonight. I saw this photo and just noticed the head direction of sanma was not correct (left direction was correct).

恵方巻き／fortune sushi roll

2月3日は節分の日。一日早いけど、今年も恵方巻きを作って、家族の健康と幸せを祈願しました。

Tomorrow, on 3rd Feb, is the beginning of spring in traditional Japanese calendar. Today we made fortune sushi rolls and prayed for my family`s good health and happiness, although it`s one day earlier.

歩く練習／learning how to walk

娘が10ヶ月になりました。最近はベビーチェアーを前に押し進めて歩く練習をしていますが、とても危なっかしい。

My daughter turned ten months old. Now she is learning how to walk pushing the baby chair and moving forward. However, I can say it is NOT SAFE for toddler.

下の写真みたいな手押し車を買ってあげた方がいいのかしら？

Should I buy a new baby walker as below?  

大学芋／candied sweet potato

急に大学芋が食べたくなって、まずはサツマ芋をテラスで天日干し。野菜を天日干しすると甘みが増すそうです。

Suddenly I felt like eating candied sweet potato, so I dried sweet potatoes in the sun on the terrace. Well, I hear sun-dried vegetable increases its sweetness.  

Excellent!

美味しく出来ました。

真冬の一時帰国／temporary return to winter Japan

真冬の日本へ一時帰国してきました。家族や親戚、友人に会って、娘の成長を見せてあげられてよかった。一時帰国中、娘はつたい歩きやハイハイが上達しました。

I went back to winter Japan for two weeks. I`m glad to show the healthy growth of my daughter to my family, relatives, and friends. During stay in Japan, she got to be able to walk holding onto furniture better and crawl faster.

謹賀新年2015／Happy New Year 2015

明けましておめでとうございます。2015年は超手抜きのお雑煮とタイのお菓子で迎えました。

Happy New Year 2015! I celebrated the NewYear Day with super easy cooking "Ozoni" and some snacks of Thailand.
