ネパールに祈りを／Pray for Nepal

今月25日にネパールを襲った大地震。増えていく死傷者の数や倒壊した町並みを観ると、東日本大震災の時のように心がざわついて、いてもたってもいられなくなる。

どうか一人でも多くの命が救われますように。一日でも早く元のカトマンズに復興しますように。写真は約2年前にカトマンズを訪れたときのものです。

Almost two years ago, in August of 2013, I traveled Kathmandu in Nepal with my husband. Therefore, I am strongly shocked to hear Nepal earthquake....

Hope to save as many lives in Nepal as possible. Hope things are back to normal as soon as possible. 

家族写真／family photo session

娘が1歳になった記念に写真館で家族写真を撮ってきました。スタジオ以外にジョージタウンの街中や屋台村でもパチリ。アルバムの完成が楽しみ。残念なことにその写真館は私たちを最後に閉店します。

We had a family photo session for our daughter`s 1st anniversary at photo studio. We were taken photos in the city of Georgetown, hawker center, and studio. I`m looking forward to seeing the finished album. Unfortunately, the photo studio will be closed down. 

ペナンラクサ／penang laksa

前回は定休日で食べられなかったバリプラウのペナンラクサ。前評判通り、今まで食べた中で一番美味しかった。

A few months ago I went to Balik Pulau market in order to eat famous penang laksa, but the stall was closed. The other day I tried again and finally ate it. Yuuumyyyyy! This was the best one I have ever eaten so far.   

ちびドリアン／baby durians

鈴なりに実るちびドリアンが見えるかな？こんな風に実るなんて知らなかった。

Can you see the baby durians growing in clusters on the tree? I never thought they would be grown up like this!

これはドリアンの花（友人撮影）。初めて見た。来るドリアンシーズンが待ち遠しい！

This is durian flowers(photo by my freind).  My first time to see it. Can`t wait coming durian season!

タンジュントコンのアーワンカフェ／Ah Wang Cafe＠Tanjung Tokong

お気に入りカフェのアーワンカフェ。自家製カヤトーストと練乳入りアイスコーヒーがとっても美味しい。

Ah Wang Cafe is one of my favorite cafe. They serves home-made kaya(coconuts jam) toasts and sweetened ice coffee. I love both of them!

全部で400円位

Only RM12 in all

カヤはお店で購入可能。人気なので売り切れになることもしばしば。

Canned kaya is available there. It`s very popular and sometimes there is no stock. 

場所はタンジュントコン。団地に囲まれた小さなカフェで、いつも地元の人で賑わっています。

It is located in Tanjung Tokong, Penang. It`s a small cafeteria surrounded by some low flats and always full of the local people. 

日増しに／day by day

靴を履き始めてから、日増しに外でも歩けるようになってきた。

My baby got to be able to walk outside day by day since she has started to put on her shoes. 

ここは日中でも日陰があって歩く練習をするには良いんですが、蚊が多いのが難点。

This place is good for baby walking in terms of too much shade.  However, there is a lot of mosquitoes.....

タンジュンブンガのメキシコ料理／Mexican food@Tanjung Bungah

タンジュンブンガのヒルサイドにあるメキシコ料理屋さん。ここのブリトーが美味しくて、すっかりリピーター。

My favorite Mexican food in Penang is wet Burritos at Grumpiez Green Pepper, Hillside,Tanjung Bungah. I have ever had several times as I love it so much. 

この激辛ソースに気をつけてね。

ランチタイム／lunch time

屋台ごはんをその場で食べたりテイクアウトしたり。ペナンでよく見かける風景。

I can see this scenery everywhere in Penang. The local people drop by the street stalls at lunch time. They eat it outside or take it away.

山積みココナッツ／a pile of coconuts

山積みのココナッツを運んでいるトラック。どこへ行くのかな？

Truck is carrying a pile of coconuts. Where is it bound for? 

美味しい日本食／yummy Japanese food

タンジュントコンの日本食レストラン 銀座で食べたランチ定食。ボリューム満点で美味しかった。消費税やサービス料含め1200円位でした。

This is a salmon set lunch at Ginza Japanese restaurant,Tanjung Tokong, Penang. It`s big portion and tastes good. It cost about RM35 including GST and serves charges.

KLのパビリオンに入ってる山頭火の大盛り塩ラーメン。ペロッと完食。これも全部で1200円位でした。

Another is a big portion shio ramen at Santouka restaurant, Pavillion shopping mall of Kuala Lumpur.    I ate it up quickly.  It also cost about 40 RM in all.
