客家＆上海料理のレストラン＠家風情／Hakka and Shanghai dishes restaurant@Chia Fong Chieng

客家と上海料理が食べられる完全予約制のレストランに行ってきました。

I went to the restaurant of Hakka and Shanghai dishes, named Chia Fong Chieng. This restaurant is run by Mr Choy and his daughter AnAn. Business hour is only available for booking.

 

奥の方がオーナーのChoyさん。娘のAnAnさんが料理担当です。

He is a owner, Mr Choy, in the back of this photo. AnAn cooks for herself.

店内はアンティークの食器や家具が並んでいます。

There are their collections of antique warehouses and furnishings.

お料理はどれも優しくて、また食べたくなる味でした。

Every dish was so nice and unforgettable taste.

The restaurant is just located next to Mon Delice Patisserie.

場所はモンデリスパティスリーの真隣です。

お気に入りのアイス／Favorite ice cream bar

Fruttareのイチゴ味（約80円）。オススメです。

One of my favorite ice cream bar is a Fruttare strawberry smoothie flavor(RM2.8). It`s worth trying.

雨期／rainy season

ここ数日の雨で茶色だった芝生が緑に。いよいよ雨期に突入したのかな？

アンパンマンのパン／red bean bun of Anpanman

先日、近所のパン屋さんがアンパンマン好きの娘のために、特別にアンパンマンのパンを作ってプレゼントしてくれました。アンパンマンはマレーシアでは全然メジャーではないのに、わざわざ調べてくれたようで、中にはちゃんとあんこが詰まっていました。

These are red bean buns of Anpanman, which is a famous anime character among Japanese kids.The other day a certain bakery in my neighborhood baked specially to give them to my daughter as a surprising present. Anpanman is a hero for my daughter, but not famous for Malaysians at all. I think the bakery must have checked Anpanman because there were red beans in them.   

イポーヘドライブ／drive to Ipoh

車の練習がてらイポーヘドライブ。
I went for a drive to Ipoh with my family, and practiced driving as well.

ペナン未出店の吉野家でランチしました。

We had beef bowls for lunch at Yoshinoya, which is a Japanese fast food chain and not yet opened in Penang.

イポーには素敵な雑貨屋があって羨ましい。なんでペナンには無いんだろう。。。

What a lovely shop! Why don`t they open in Penang? I`m so jealous...

乾期／dry season

ペナンは乾期が続き、青々していた芝生は一面茶色に。

The green grass turned into brown due to long-lasting dry season.

餌付け／fish feeding

幼稚園が春休み中、お世話になったのがこのペットショップ。

While the nursery school was on holiday, I often used to take my daughter to this pet shop, Chew Thean Yang Aquatic and Pets.

そこそこ涼しい店内で魚に餌付けが出来るんです（餌代1RM）。兎や犬、猫、鳥といったペットもいるので大人も楽しめます。

We can enjoy fish feeding even in the room with big fans! Besides, we can also enjoy watching all kinds of pets such as rabbits, dogs, cats, birds, and so on.

卒業／the end

乗り慣れた公共バスもあと少しで卒業。

I have few days until the end of taking Penang rapid bus.

マイカー生活を始めることになりました。ちなみに、今年2月からペナンの運転免許制度がひっそりと変更になりました。外国人が新規申請する際、以前は代理人がペナン島内のJPJで手続きできましたが、今は本人が本島側のJPJへ直接行かなくていけません。

My new car will arrive very soon! By the way, the rule of applying for a Malaysian driving license has been changed since February 2016. All foreigners must go to Road Transport Department(JPJ) of Seberang Jaya if they want to apply for it.
