指人形／finger puppet

アイランドプラザのアンティークショップで買った指人形。10個入りでRM10でした。

Finger puppet is RM10 for a pack of ten at antique shop of Island Plaza. 

ホームパーティー／home party

旦那の同僚を我が家に招き、ホームパーティーをしました。

典型的な和食を何種類か作ったら、喜んで全部食べてくれた。

We invited my husband`s colleagues, who are Chinese Malaysian, to our home.

I cooked several typical Japanese foods. They ate up all the food with joy.

夕方、会場のエスプラネード広場に到着

Early in the evening, we arrived at Esplanade where festival was held.

コーンウォリス要塞／Fort Cornwallis

約11年前、数日間だけペナンに滞在した。当時のことはよく覚えてないけど、コーンウォリス要塞を訪れたことだけは記憶にあった。ここはそんな思い出の地。

About eleven years ago, I stayed at Penang as a backpacker only for a few days. Actually, I don`t remember well where I went to and what I did while a short stay in Penang. However, all I remember is visiting Fort Cornwallis. This historical spot reminds me of my old days.

花屋／flower shop

リトルインディアで見かける典型的な花屋さん。とっても色鮮やか。 

This is a typical flower shop seen around Little Indian, Penang.

It`s very colorful and vibrant. 

アンティーク ショップ／antique shop

チュリアストリートにはたくさんのアンティークショップがある。陶器や宝石、家具、玩具、がらくたを売っている。どのお店にも共通して言えるのが、オーナーがちょっと変わってること。

There are many antique shops located along Chulia Street, which has a selection of porcelain, jewelry, furnitures, toys, and bric-a-brac. What is common in all shops is that shop owner is rather unique. 

シーソー／seesaw

シーソーで遊んでる女子高生がいた。

かわいいって連呼してたら、かわいいって言い返してくれた。ありがとう。

I met Kawaii high school students playing on a seesaw.

I talked to them in Japanese "Kawaii" many times, and then they also said to me, "Kawaii". Thanks!
