１年前の約束／promise made one year ago

マレーシアとタイのママ友に日本食ランチをご馳走しました。１年前の約束をやっと果たせた。

I treated mom friends from Malaysia and Thailand to Japanese food lunch. I could keep the promise made one year ago.

大きな樹の下のカフェ／Ah Lai Cafe under the big tree

大きな樹が目印のAh Lai CafeはジョージタウンのGat Lebuh Gerejaにあります。平日の午前中に行ったら既に何組か並んでいました。

Ah Lai Cafe is famous for being under the big tree. That is located at Gat Lebuh Gereja, Georgetown. When we arrived there in the morning on weekdays, some people were already waiting for seats.

定番の半熟卵トースト、チキンヌードル、練乳入りアイスコーヒーを注文(全部で500円位)。お味はいたって普通です。

We ordered standard items of half boiled eggs on buttered toasts, instant chicken noodle, and special ice kopi(RM15). The taste was just normal.

ビーチストリート散策／strolling around Beach street

Pos Lajuまで小包を取りに行ったついでに、ビーチストリート界隈をお散歩。

I strolled around Beach Street on my way to pick up my parcel at Pos Laju of Lebuh Victoria. 

これに乗ってみたい！

The book sandwich cafe

ジョージタウンの気になっていたカフェでランチ。期待値以上に美味しくてリピ決定。

I had a fish sandwich for lunch at The book sandwich cafe, where I`ve wanted to go, located along Lebuh Pantai, Georgetown.  The Glilled lemon fish sandwich set was so nice. That was more excellent than I expected. I will definitely go back next time.

テラスで娘とシャボン玉遊び。

We enjoyed blowing bubbles on my terrace.

話題の本／hot book

今、日本で最も話題になっている本「火花」。日本から遊びにきた友達が持って来てくれました。1ページ1ページ大切に読んでいます。

"Hibana" is the most talked about book now in Japan. My Japanese friend, who is staying in Penang during summer holidays , brought it to me as a souvenir. I`ve been reading it carefully one by one.
