新年快楽2015／Happy Chinese New Year 2015

2月19日は旧正月の年初めにあたる春節でした。

Feb 19 2015 was the first day of the new year in Chinese calendar. 

ペナン最古の中国寺院の観音寺は大勢の参拝客で賑わっていました。

So many Chinese people visited Kuan Yin temple, the oldest temple in Penang, to worship.

足形アート／footprint art

先日、初めて娘が二本足で立ったので、記念に足形アートを作りました。日本の祖父母にもプレゼントしたいと思います。

The other day my baby girl, 10 months old, could stand without support for the first time. So, I made footprint art with my daughter in memory. I will send the art as a gift to both of her grandparents in Japan.

ミシン／sewing machine

自宅でミシンを始めました。娘の寝ている間に少しづつ作業しています。

Recently I have just started to use the sewing machine at home. I am doing step by step while my daughter is sleeping.

チャイナドレス／baby china dress

テスコでベビー用のチャイナドレスが70％OFFだったので、思わず購入。来るチャイニーズニューイヤーで着せようと思います。

I bought the baby china dress at Tesco hypermarket. It was an impulse buy, since it was only RM15, sold at 70% discount.  I will put it on my daughter during the coming Chinese New Year.

ホップオン・ホップオフ・バス／Penang Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

去年11月にサービスインしてから乗ろうと思っていた2階建て観光バスにやっと乗ってきました。今回はビーチルートを選択。見慣れた風景も2階から眺めると新鮮に感じました。

I have been planing to board on Penang Hop-On Hop-Off Double Decker Bus since its service was launched in last November. And then, finally the day has come. I boarded on beach route bus. The sight was so familiar, but everything I looked at by double decker bus seemed new to me. 

24時間チケットは45RM（マレーシア人は19RM）

24-hour fare is RM45(citizens with Mykad  RM19)

雛人形／Hina doll set

3月3日の雛祭りに向けて、小さな小さな雛人形を飾りました。

Toward Girl`s Festival, on 3rd March, I displayed small small Hina doll set.  

どのくらい小さいかと言うと、iPod nanoよりもっと小さいんです。

Regarding the size, they are quite smaller than iPod nano.

タイプーサム 2015／Thaipusam 2015

今年もヒンドゥー教徒のお祭りタイプーサムに行ってきました。去年は妊婦だったのもあってゆっくり歩きながら沢山写真が撮れたけど、今回は娘を一人で抱っこしていたので、そうもいかず。(去年の様子はコチラ→☆) 

I joined Hindu Festival, Thaipusam in Penang this year too. Last year I enjoyed taking a lot of photos during the festival. That is because I was eight months pregnant and had plenty of time to take photos while walking very very slowly. This year I could not afford to take because I was holding my baby in my left arms without the help of my husband. (Last year topic is here)

さんま定食／grilled sanma set meal

新鮮な魚介が買えので、今夜はさんま定食にしました。写真を見て気づいたんですが、さんまの頭の向きが逆でしたね。

I bought fresh seafoods such as sanma, saba, etc, so I made grilled sanma set meal tonight. I saw this photo and just noticed the head direction of sanma was not correct (left direction was correct).

恵方巻き／fortune sushi roll

2月3日は節分の日。一日早いけど、今年も恵方巻きを作って、家族の健康と幸せを祈願しました。

Tomorrow, on 3rd Feb, is the beginning of spring in traditional Japanese calendar. Today we made fortune sushi rolls and prayed for my family`s good health and happiness, although it`s one day earlier.
