家族旅行＠アユタヤ／family trip to Ayutthaya,Thailand

バンコクに比べてアユタヤは１３年前と変わらず神聖で荘厳なところでした。

Compared to Bangkok city, Ayutthaya hasn`t changed since my last trip 2001. It still remains holy and majestic atmosphere.

  

家族旅行＠バンコク／family trip to Bangkok,Thailand

飛行機で1時間半のバンコクへ家族旅行してきました。13年ぶりのバンコクは様変わりしていて驚いた。

I went to Bangkok, Thailand with my family. It took only one and a half hour from Penang by air. I was so surprised that Bangkok has completely changed since my last trip in 2001.

Asiatique The Riverfront is a river-side mall combining shopping, dining, sightseeing, and activities under the one roof.

3回食／three meals a day

娘は9ヶ月になり、よく食べてくれるので、離乳食を2回から3回にしました。

My daughter turned nine months old. She took three meals a day because she ate well so far. 

トマトの卵とじ、麩とほうれん草の出汁煮、しらすのお粥

ペナン歴の長い友達が連れて行ってくれた日用品雑貨屋。店内はいろんな種類の雑貨がびっしり。ここは行く価値あり。

My friend who has been staying in Penang for long took me to the household goods shop. There was full of a variety kinds of households goods. It`s worth visiting there.

魚の目／a corn

ズリバイし始めてから両足に小さな魚の目ができました。かわいい〜

My baby girl has got little corns on both her soles since she started low army crawling. So cute!

雨・雨・雨／rainy days

ここ4日間、雨がしとしと降り続きちょっと肌寒い。いつまで降るのかな？そろそろギラギラ太陽が恋しい。

It has been raining for four days and slight chilly. How much longer will this rain go on? Miss the glaring sunny days.

激辛チャー・クイ・ティオ／super spicy char koay teow

バリプラウで食べた激辛チャー・クイ・ティオ。あまりに辛くて、食べきれなかった。

This is char koay teow I ordered in Balik Pulau market. I could not eat it all, because it was the spiciest ever.

月に1度のお楽しみ／yummy time once a month

月に1度、新鮮な海鮮類を買えるようになりました。生サーモンやホタテ、タコ、イカ、穴子等で月に1度の贅沢ディナー。

I got to be able to buy fresh seafood once a month such as fresh salmon, scallop, squid, octopus, anago, and so on. I really enjoyed gorgeous seafood dinner with my husband. 

ズリバイ／low army crawling

娘が 8ヶ月でズリバイを始めました。最初は恐る恐るだったけど勇気が出たのか、今では家中を高速ズリバイしています。

My daughter started low army crawling at eight months. At first she was scared to go anywhere, but then she got the brave. And now she can get to everywhere faster.

手作りスカートvol.4／handmade baby skirt vol.4

今回はワンピースに挑戦。既製品のタンクトップにソフトチュールのスカートを縫い合わせる作業が特に難しくて、裁縫の先生にお任せしました。

This handmade one piece dress was my fourth work. Especially sewing together ready-made tank top and soft tulle fabric was too difficult for me, so I asked my friend to finish it. 

餅つき大会／rice cake making festival

先日、日本人会が主催する餅つき大会に参加しました。

The other day I joined the rice cake making festival held by Penang Japanese assosiation.

クリスマスクッキーを作りました。さて、今年のクリスマスは何をしようかな？

サツマ芋の季節／sweet potato season

今年もサツマ芋の季節がやってきました。友達と3人で5kgのサツマ芋から140個のスウィートポテトを作りました。

Sweet potato in season comes this year too. I made 140 pieces of sweet potato cakes using 5kg potatoes with the help of my two friends.  

イルミネーションツリー／artificial plant decorated with strand of lights.

娘のプレイスペースにツリーを設置しました。SSFで買ったツリー（造木）にイルミネーションライトを巻き付けて装飾。光るものが大好きな娘は大喜びでした。

I put an artificial plant into my baby`s play space. I bought its plant and strand of lights at SSF home deco mart in Penang, and decorated it with lights. My baby girl looked at it and got very delighted because she likes something shining.

むちむち／chubby baby

娘が7ヶ月になりました。体重8.3kg、身長67cmとすくすく育っています。見事にむっちむち！

My baby girl turned seven months old. She is now 67 cm tall and weighs 8.3 kg. She is growing up healthy. Perfect chubby baby!

ディパバリアート／Deepavali art

ディパバリはヒンドゥー教徒にとって大切な行事で、期間中はあちこちで砂や灯りを使った作品が見られます。

Deepavali is an important festival for Hindus so that we can see different kinds of sand or lightening arts everywhere.

ハロウィン／Halloween

毎年ハロウィンは特に何もしないんですが、今年はお友達が作ったかぼちゃ団子を頂きました。ごちそうさまでした！

Every year I did nothing special during Halloween. However, this year I celebrated Halloween by eating pumpkin rice cake my friend made. Thanks, dear my friend!

プレイスペース／baby play space

7ヶ月になった娘のプレイスペースを手作りしています。まだ赤ちゃんだけど、どれが新作なのかがちゃんと分かります。新作を見つけて喜ぶ姿を見たら、この作業を終えられそうにありません。いつまでたっても完成しないサグラダファミリアみたい。

Recently I am making play space of my daughter who turned 7 months old. She is getting to understand which item is new, though she is still a baby. I can not finish the work, because her smile does not allow me to stop. I think her play space is like a Sagrada Familia in the meaning of being under construction so long.
