アフターヌーンティー@サフォークハウス／afternoon tea@suffolk house

サフォークハウスでアフターヌーンティーをしてきました。ここはイギリス植民地時代の遺産のひとつで、アングロインディアン文化の庭園や建物がとても良かった。

I went to Suffolk house for enjoying afternoon tea with my husband. This restaurant is one of colonial heritage landmarks in Penang. The ambience of Anglo-indian garden house is great!

オニオンパイとスコーンは焼き立て。2人で80RM（2400円／税込）。

特別な人とデートするのにお薦めなレストランです。

They served fresh baked onionpies and scones with different home-made jams and butter. It cost 80RM(2400yen, including tax) in all. I think it is good place to bring someone special for a date. 

ドリアン中毒／durian-holic

今月は年２回目のドリアンシーズン。昨日たらふく食べたのにもう食べたい。ドリアン中毒だー！

Durian in season comes twice a year and it`s the second best season. Aa I ate a lot of durians yesterday, I do miss it. Durian-holic!!!

スウィートポテト／sweet potato cake

珍しくスーパーに並んでいたさつま芋を買って、スィートポテトを作りました。たった300円で33個も出来た。しっとりと甘くておいしい。日本の秋を思い出しました。

Today I found sweet potatoes, which are usually difficult to get at the supermarket. So, I made sweet potato cakes of 33 pieces. It costs only 10RM in all. Tastes creamy and sweet! They reminds me of  taste of autumn in Japan.

Xmasの準備／preraration for Xmas

気温37℃の中、Xmasの準備で忙しそう。

Today it was still hot and 37 degree in Penang. They were busy for decorating Xmas tree.

2度目のドリアンシーズン／2nd best season for durian

ドリアンが美味しい時期は6月〜7月と11月〜12月の年2回。今は2度目の旬。早速、ドリアン農園に出かけてきました。クリーミーで美味しかった〜。

Durian in season comes twice per year, the first season is between June and July and the second one is November and December.This is the second best season. I went to durian farms with friend`s families and ate a lot of creamy durians!  Really tastes good!

豚汁／sliced pork soup

鹿児島育ちじゃないけれど、甘い鹿児島醤油が好き。

鹿児島醤油で豚汁を作りました。

I am not brought up in Kagoshima of Japan, but I like Kagoshima shoyu, which is a Japanese sweet soy source. 

I made sliced pork soup with it.

中華系マレーシア人のちびっ子は、いつもとびきりの笑顔を向けてくれる。

かわいい。

This kid is a Chinese malaysian and always gives me a special smile.

オラウータンアイランド／orangutan island

オラウータンに会ってきました。

ペナン中心部から車で約１時間。ボートに乗り換えて約10分。

オラウータンが保護されている離島に到着。

We went to Bukit Merah Lake Town to see sanctuary orangutans.

It took about 1 hour by car from Penang island and only 10 minutes by ferry to get there.  

スタッフが栄養剤を飲ませてます。

He is feeding an energy drink.

愛くるしい。見ていて飽きない。

How adorable! Never tire of looking at them!

再開／start again

一時帰国よりペナンに戻りました。ブログを再開します。

I am just coming back to Penang after a temporary return to Japan.

   I gonna start to write blogging again.
