ウェルカムボード／welcome board

ご縁あって１０月の結婚式で使うウェルカムボードをhicobociさんにステンドグラスで作って頂けることになりました。ペナンらしいデザインにしたくて、あれこれ注文させてもらいました。hicobociさん、本当にありがとうございます。出来上がりがとても楽しみです。

I am blessed with good fate that I ordered hicoboci, who is a stained glass artist, a welcome board. I am sure it can add brilliant atmosphere to our wedding ceremony in October. I made many requests of design such as flower, animal, fruit and people to portray real Penang. Many thanks, hicoboci. Looking forward to be completed.

寝転がってるブッダ／reclining Buddha

最近、体調が良くなくて写真のブッダみたいに横になってます。

寝転がってるブッダの全長は33m！

I have recently not been feeling well, and lying down like below Buddha.

This reclining Buddha is as long as 33meters! 

丘の上のインド寺院／Waterfall Hilltop temple

丘の上にインド寺院がある。信者も観光客も500段以上の階段を上らなきゃ辿り着けない。寺院の中は神聖かつ荘厳で、間違いなく上る価値はあった。

Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani temple, known as Waterfall Hilltop temple is built on hilltop, so that all devotees and visitors have to climb around 500 steps to reach the top. The inside of the temple is holy and majestic, definitely it is worth around 500 steps!  

ビスケット／biscuit

 マレーシア人はビスケットが大好き。商店やスーパーで大量買いしているのをよく見かける。ある調査報告書によると、手軽に食べられる栄養補助食という理由で普及したみたい。

Malaysian people love biscuit so much. You can see those who buy in bulk at small shop or supermarket. According to a survey report about "biscuits in Malaysia",  it helped to 

boost demand for biscuits due to healthy ingredient such as oats,wholegrain, and cereals. Besides, it can be grabbed a pack and eaten everywhere.
